Should I see this event as "We'd like to help you allong with this grind", or "We'd like to encourage you to accept this grind as our intended game mechanic"?

Well, this made my day! I actually have Saturday off from work and no schoolwork due. Was already planning a day of GW, so this is just an awesome coincidence that it's also a good weekend event.

Final Asuran quest in the skill chain seems to be it, you get 6 bosses worth 250+ each if you kill all the other enemies in the zone first. I got about 250, and I hadn't killed anything west of Olafstead.

whoopy! I think I might actually log in! Oh wait.. Orange box and Folklore come out tomorrow..... silly me, games that actually don't suck! Well, guess that eliminates this "fun" weekend. Pardon me while I turn some fools into goo and rip some creatures souls out.

Why do people bother posting their negative "I won't be doing this, I don't even play anymore!" declarations in an otherwise happy thread?
Have a great day, somewhere else..!

Alright, here's my question. I don't care about the armour. All I want to know is:
What is the most effecient way to use this double points weekend?
As in, which would be the best reputation to farm during this weekend while double points are active? (Ex. Most tedious, boring, etc)

I can only give a personal answer to this, but here it is anyway.
Dwarven title - the easiest to max with dungeons and snowmen runs.
Vanguard - also easy to max with Devourer runs into Sacnoth.
Asura - for some reason I dont mind doing the Asura areas.
This leaves Norn, which I find as boring as hell.
So from my own point of view, I will be farming Norn points this weekend.
